CampbellI tore my meniscus and it really fucked me up — So to start off, no I wasn't fucking in the bed. You'll learn a lot about me but the first thing you need to know is I wasn't doing the do when I hurt my knee. How did I hurt my knee, and why would I start my piece that way? Well I was in bed one night, I rolled over and my knee exploded. That is all I know.

CampbellCreativity Block — None of these thoughts are organized, and quite frankly I wouldn't read this page with any hope for inspiration.

Campbell The Art of the Album Rollout — Album’s aren’t what they used to be. We used to wake up Friday morning and listen to the whole project on the bus, or if you were lucky enough to stay up till midnight on Thursday listen through your skullcandy headphones in bed. The rollout of an album was often simple, catered to the talk shows, the radio, or television. One thing has remained true throughout the years of changing genres, platforms, and social media and that is: An artist will always find a way to sprinkle their brand into their music.

Campbell October’s End, A Canadian Distraction, and What’s Yet To Come In November — I’m just going to come out and say it, I am guilty. I’m guilty and so many people are too. One Friday a year we can all say we got “GOT”, in all caps. The man is 36 years old and he still manages to ruin my music taste for a month with his albums that grab my full attention. I, like so many others, had it good. My playlists were well rounded, I was listening to all types of news sounds, I went to concerts. Then all of a sudden we get Her Loss and I don’t know where it all went. I couldn’t stop listening. But that’s not what this post is about. This post is for what we may have been distracted from, and what is coming up.

Campbell Why This Fall Will Be The Best For Experimental Artists And Fans — Coming off of incredible music summers like the one we just left, fall hits hard for fans of good music in need of something better. After Gemini Rights and Mr. Morale, I could not expect to see this much music be released and not be washed out by all the noise of TikTok and dance crazes. Just three weeks in, autumn has proven to fans and artists that right now is the prime era for this new wave of black-alternative, metal pop, and indie artists. Artists, even though we are seeing so many sound blending projects and releases, now is such a good time for you to drop!

Campbell 22 Artists You Need On Next Year’s Spotify Wrapped — Now that the year is over and your identity has been determined by what aura your Spotify habits gave off, it is time to tell you why your 2021 Spotify Wrapped was not the best. This year, flooded with music of all genres and some of the most iconic sound bites from artists, gave us the largest “album of the year” contest that I can imagine, and works that have left most of your favorite artists behind in last decade. Whether your Spotify Wrapped did in fact suck is not my concern, what is my concern is telling you which artist’s you missed out on this year.
